BOARD OF TRUSTEES DECIDES ON ELEMENTS OF AN EXPECTED REHABILITATION PLAN - Due to the residual effects of the market losses of 2008 and 2009, the American Federation of Musicians and Employers' Pension Fund ("Fund") is expected to be certified by the Fund's independent actuary to be in "critical status" for the plan year beginning April 1, 2010. As a result, the Fund's Board of Trustees (the "Board") expects that it will be required to adopt a "rehabilitation plan" under the Pension Protection Act of 2006. At one of its regularly scheduled meetings last week, the Board made some decisions about the provisions of the expected rehabilitation plan. The rehabilitation plan may affect benefits of individuals who have not yet begun to receive a pension, although it will not affect any benefits currently being paid. You can review these important provisions by going to ExpectedREHABILITATIONPLAN3-1-2010.pdf

  2. Notification of potential withdrawal liability for employers that withdraw 4/1/2009 to 3/31/2010
